One of my favorite background categories are the spirals. All my drawings are done freehand. I remember as a small child how I loved making designs with Spiro graph.

Check out the animations! Aren’t they so cool? I will be adding an additional grouping of them very shortly.

Some new categories are in the works right now also. I’m so excited I hope that you will like them too!

I have tried to do my backgrounds in many color varieties. You will see lots of hearts, stars, happy faces and flowers. They are my favorites!

It’s funny I can’t tell you how many people see my pictures and comment to me about what must be going through my head when I’m drawing for pictures to come out looking like they do! The thing is I have hundreds more drawings here, and no two are alike. That even amazes me. The only thing that I can say is it comes from within. I love drawing and can continue Non-Stop!

I’ve had many compliments on my little animals, teddy bears, children and so on, I am thankful for the compliments, and love drawing them. I try to pick cute sayings and match the drawings to the saying.

When you visit the birthday section, you can type in your birth date information and when you submit it will tell you the day of the week you were born. It will also show you a fur-friend showing that month’s color and your horoscope sign and a sign for the day of the week you were born to put on your site.

When you visit the horoscope section, there will be a link that you can copy and paste to your Myspace, etc. to click on daily to get your horoscope. I don’t live by my horoscope readings, but I have to read it daily. Some days it’s Right ON!

I never really thought much about drawing as an inspiration in my life until about a year ago when I lost my job. A co-worker stopped by my home, she was about to have an art exhibit. I told her about my drawings, I showed her the drawings she loved them and insisted I be in her show. That’s when my story began.

I worked night and day; ideas were popping in my head out of no where. My first art exhibit was incredible. What a feeling!!!! My drawings were on the front page of the local paper. I was flabbergasted. It was an extraordinary feeling to see people reacting to my drawings. People of all ages liking the drawings, they asked me about them, and even bought them. When I sold my first picture grouping for $400.00, I was in awe. I could barely contain myself. I had a hard time letting go of it; it was like I was parting with a piece of me. At the same time it was an incredible feeling to know some one liked my drawings that much that they would pay for them and want them in their home. It felt good to know something that I made brought happiness to others. I’ve been in many more exhibits, and they all have brought so much excitement in my life.

I began to think how cool it would be to have a site where people would be able to go to my site, view my drawings, use my drawings for Myspace, computer and cell phone backgrounds, etc. That’s how Lucked Out Life originated. When my children’s friends would come to visit, I would have hundred’s of drawings all over the dining room table. They would all pick out their favorites; they really liked them.

I expanded my horizons from doing my regular drawings to doing all kinds of fun drawings. In all different categories. Making categories in, sports, fun, love, sayings, etc.

I was unstoppable; ideas were coming into my head in leaps and bounds. I could barely keep up with myself. My computer guys, JM and Jesse are simply the best, without them my dream would not even have gotten a chance. They have to put up with me and my continuing ideas and changes. I’d like to think I don’t drive them completely crazy, but I think at times its pretty close.

I plan on eventually adding to my existing categories more artists and photographers, with different styles. I want to offer a variety of talents for everyone to see.

I proceeded to come up with the idea that it would be nice if the drawings and or photography were available as unique gift ideas. So now available for any drawing or photograph is an order section where you can order them as prints, on mugs, t-shirts, mouse pads, and more. How cool is that?

My dreams are in action, I hope to give people inspiration. To show them if you have faith and you truly believe in yourself and your dreams, some how, some way they will shine through. Angels in some shape and form will come to you. They will be there for you at the exact time you need them. Even when things are down and there are bad days, NEVER stop believing.

As of this moment, I’m having additional sections being worked on for Lucked Out Life. They will hopefully be added on in the very near future. The sections will be called Bling-it; Lay-it-Out; and Word-it. I’ll tell you more about these sections in a future blog.
